Captain Jonathan Pickman was a Margravate Privateer-turned-renegade-turned-Naga Agent.

Personality

Pickman was an almost godly inspiration to his men, bellowing terrifying threats to accompany every command and following through on both with insane gusto. He remained one of the most visible and frightening agents of the Naga.

Even in death, his head on the tip of an etheric saber, Pickman continued to (somewhat hoarsely) howl curses at his men until his hair caught fire and engulfed him.

History

Career

After a short career in service to the Margravate of Tarim, which Pickman ended by raiding a Margravate convoy and stealing a warship, Pickman and his crew took to piracy. After a chance encounter with the Taigun saved them from death at the hands of Gul'Dan raiders, Pickman and his surviving officers struck out into the deepest ether.

Naga Agent

When lost and desperate, he found a small crop of coral and, on it, cultists of the Naga. Pickman killed them and waited for their masters to arrive, offering knowledge of the Taigun and its trajectory. For this service, Pickman was allowed to ply his pirate trade as an agent of the Naga and a transporter for the Perfect Princes.

He became a terror to travelers between Celestial and Imperial Space, growing increasingly deranged as the grafts and implants gifted to him by the Naga took their inevitable toll.

Death

Pickman met his death against the new crew of the Taigun at the Foundation Station at the hands of Allie Flashpan.
